Jo and Will are very welcoming, the room is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is excellent.

Everything.Jo n Will couldn't do enough for you.If you like a quiet area with luxury, this is the place to come. You pay for what you get and this is the best you will get in Torquay. We had a beautiful week there and brought the Maltese weather with us.One day it was 27c.Hope that more Maltese people will go there,it's a wonderful place.

A warm welcome from the owners and helpful advice on local taxis. A first class breakfast was served in the morning in a very pleasant breakfast room.

We were very impressed with Kingston House, it is the best guest house that we have ever stayed in. Will and Jo were fabulous hosts and have a magic formula of being attentive without being intrusive, they make you feel immediately at home and special guests. We particularly liked the welcome cup of tea and hot cross buns, and the special thoughtfulness of an Easter Card and an Easter Egg when we left. There are so many well thought out details and ideas, for example sweets by the side of the bed, magazines, hairdryer etc. The traditional breakfast was innovative in design, different and delicious. On site parking was a plus for staying in Torquay and the house is beautifully furnished with taste and style. Kingston House overshadows other hotels and guest houses up and down the country and stands majestically in Torquay as an oasis of tranquility and luxury. The owners should be very proud of their achievements, dedication and hard work to make this the best!!

Wholeheartedly recommend this very welcoming & comfortable, cosy guest house. Excellent cooked breakfasts with varied choices.

car parking could be a problem to some, need to ask people to move their car in order to get out on occasions.

This was one of the nicest places we have stayed. On arrival we were made to feel extremely welcome and treated to tea and cake. The rooms were spotlessly clean with white linen and towels. There was complimentary tea, coffee and fresh milk, and bathroom products. Nothing was too much trouble and Warren and Jill were excellant hosts. We would definately go back.

nothing the house and owners were perfect

We've stayed for 5 days at Kingston house and we were treated like kings thanks to the dedicated and very friendly owners Jill & Warren. They've made our stay unforgettable. From all of the hosts we've met during our holiday they were the kindest and friendliest of all.

Although it is quite a quaint exterior to this Hotel, the interior is very attractive and well maintaned. The owners were very welcoming, although not at all intrusive. It provided a nice one night stop off and i was disappointed that we actually had planned to stay elsewhere the following night as it felt cosy and inviting. The breakfast was smashing served in a lovely light and airy Breakfast room. The owners were happy to impart local information and tips of places to see and eat. And the price was very reasonable. we would recommend this to sight seers and business travellers alike although if you dont want to have to walk into Torqay itself, you might wish to choose somewhere nearer to the town. England needs more Gem B and B's like this.

The noisy road outside unfortunately and it is quite a long walk into town for anyone who is not fit. You would need to drive into Torquay if you were older or had small children.

Very friendly owners who could not do enough to make for a pleasant stay. Very clean and the breakfast is 5/5.

A bit of road noise and car park a bit tight.

Kingston House was a 5 star bed and breakfast which lived up to its name. From the moment we set foot in to the house we were made to feel so welcome. We were asked straight away if we would like a cup of tea and because we said no a glass of wine was brought up to our room. The room was lovely and cosy and everything was very clean. The breakfasts were great which filled you up until evening meal. I would definitely stay at the Kingston House again.

The owners were fantastic, they were friendly and extremely helpful, even booking us a table at a local hotel in case we had no-where to go for dinner. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent and included attention to detail in evy aspect. The bed was very comfortable and the bakfast was outstanding. I would not hesitate to return or to recommend Kingston House. Well done.

Excellent in every aspect from the warm welcome to the friendly goodbye, Kingston house is a little gem of a hotel, lovely clean good size rooms , breakfast was first class, Jill and warren couldn't have been more helpful, would recommend this hotel to anyone who want a nice quite comfortable friendly place to stay.

Jill and Warren were both excellent with regard to their warmest of welcomes and their attention to all aspects of service. They are to be highly commended for their friendly manner and attention to all needs. Kingston House provided a very comfortable base for our overnight stay. The parking was a little confined but didn't pose any real problem for the duration of our stay. Full marks to our hosts who seem to enjoy their role and the company of their guests, and who are ever ready to oblige with any reasonable request. We enjoyed our stay very much and will have fond memories of our short break at Kingston House.
